Wandsworth, SW18 – 50-Room Aparthotel Development

Adam Renovations undertook the acquisition and development of a former Salvation Army property in Wandsworth, SW18, identifying the opportunity to reposition an underutilised building as a substantial mixed-use hospitality development.

Following acquisition of the site, the development strategy focused on maximising the potential of the existing property and its prominent Wandsworth location. Planning permission was successfully secured for the creation of a 50-room aparthotel together with commercial accommodation at ground-floor level.

The proposed scheme was designed to introduce modern serviced accommodation while retaining an active commercial use at street level, creating a commercially viable mixed-use development suited to the surrounding area.

As part of the development process, a lease agreement was secured with an established local operator, providing an operational strategy for the proposed aparthotel and strengthening the commercial proposition of the scheme.

The project required coordination across acquisition, planning, development appraisal, design, commercial negotiations and operator engagement before the site was ultimately sold to True North Management for its next stage of development.
