From sustainable material choices and waste reduction to respecting local neighbourhoods and ensuring fair, safe working conditions, responsible practice is built into everything we do.
Building Responsibly
1. Purpose
Adam Renovations Ltd. is a trading name of ADAM Group Ltd., registered in England and Wales. Company Registration No. 07442953. We are committed to conducting operations responsibly and sustainably. This policy outlines our approach to supporting local communities, improving the natural environment, and promoting a positive impact through all aspects of our work.
2. Community Engagement
We aim to build strong, supportive relationships with the communities in which we operate.
• Engage with local residents and businesses ahead of and during construction projects.
• Provide clear communication channels for feedback and concerns.
• Participate in local forums and events where appropriate.
• Encourage local employment by prioritising hiring from the surrounding area.
• Support local initiatives, charities, or schools through sponsorship, volunteering, or donations.
3. Promoting the Construction Industry
We recognise the importance of showcasing construction as a valuable and rewarding career path.
Actions:
• Offer site visits and work experience placements to local students and young people.
• Engage with local colleges or training centres to promote trade skills and career development.
• Participate in initiatives like Open Doors or National Apprenticeship Week.
• Deliver talks or workshops about careers in construction and sustainability.
4. Environmental Stewardship
We are dedicated to minimising our environmental impact and protecting natural resources.
Environmental Goals:
• Reduce waste and increase recycling/diversion rates on all sites.
• Monitor and reduce energy and water consumption.
• Use sustainable and responsibly sourced materials.
• Enhance biodiversity on and around project sites where feasible.
• Implement measures to reduce carbon footprint in transport and operations.
5. Delivering Improvements for the Natural Environment
We commit to:
• Planting trees or greenery on completed developments.
• Improving public spaces around project sites.
• Creating green infrastructure such as rain gardens or bird habitats.
• Reducing construction-related pollution (noise, dust, runoff).
• Collaborating with ecologists or local environmental groups to preserve natural features.
6. Monitoring & Reporting
• CSR activities and outcomes will be reviewed quarterly by management.
• Impact will be recorded and included in project close-out documentation.
• Stakeholder feedback will be used to refine and improve future CSR actions.
7. Responsibility
This policy is managed by the Director and implemented by the Site Manager with support from all staff and subcontractors.
LATEST UPDATES
Litter Cleanup Initiative – June 16th, 2025
To celebrate the end of our site work and leave the area better than we found it, our team will be leading a local litter cleanup around the development. Staff and volunteers will gather to help tidy the neighbourhood and show appreciation to the local residents.

Entry-Level Opportunities
As part of our mission to promote the construction industry positively within the local community, the ADAM Group is proud to offer opportunities for those interested in starting a career in construction.

• Trainee Site Assistants
• Apprenticeships in trades (e.g. carpentry, decorating, groundwork)
These positions offer hands-on experience on live sites and can serve as a valuable first step into a long-term career in the industry.
What You’ll Need:
Most roles require a valid CSCS card, which demonstrates basic health and safety awareness. If you don’t have one yet, we can help point you in the right direction to get certified.
