Surrey, RH1 – Two-Storey Side Extension & Full Refurbishment

Adam Renovations completed a substantial two-storey side extension and residential refurbishment project in Surrey, RH1, significantly increasing the usable accommodation and transforming the layout and appearance of the existing family home.

At ground-floor level, the property was carefully reconfigured to improve functionality and circulation. The works included the creation of a newly positioned utility room while retaining and integrating an existing window room within the revised layout.

The new side extension provided valuable additional floor area across two storeys. At first-floor level, the works created a new bedroom together with an enlarged bathroom, increasing both the accommodation and practicality of the property.

A new roof was constructed over the extension and carefully integrated with the existing house to create a cohesive external appearance. The roof works formed an important part of bringing the original building and new extension together as one complete design.

The project also incorporated upgrades to the property’s heating system, including installation of a new boiler discreetly positioned within a hallway cupboard to maximise usable space and maintain a clean internal finish.

The completed scheme substantially improved the size, layout and functionality of the home while integrating the new accommodation successfully with the existing property.
