Haringey, N10 – Side Infill Extension & Internal Refurbishment

Adam Renovations completed a residential side infill extension and internal refurbishment to this three-storey property in Haringey, N10. The objective was to make better use of an underutilised area alongside the existing house while improving the layout, circulation and functionality of the ground floor.

The works involved constructing a new ground-floor side infill extension and carefully integrating the new structure with the existing building. The project required associated foundations and groundworks, structural alterations, new openings and coordination of the existing and proposed building fabric to create a seamless transition between old and new.

Internally, the wider property was also reconfigured and refurbished. Existing partitions and layouts were altered to improve the use of space, while finishes and services were coordinated around the revised arrangement. The completed works created a substantially more practical and open ground-floor environment, with the extension providing additional usable living space without compromising the character of the existing house.

As with many London extension projects, careful planning and sequencing were important due to the constraints of working within an existing residential property. Structural works, new construction and internal refurbishment had to be coordinated so that each stage progressed efficiently and the new addition integrated correctly with the original building.
