Holloway, N7 – Residential Conversion & Development

Adam Renovations delivered the conversion and redevelopment of an existing property in Holloway, N7, creating new residential flats within a constrained North London site. The project required extensive pre-construction coordination and a prolonged planning process before works could proceed.

The original proposals evolved substantially during the planning stage, including revisions to elements of the design and the removal of a proposed two-storey glazed addition. Once the final scheme was agreed, our team coordinated the construction programme, procurement and delivery of the residential conversion works.

The project involved comprehensive internal reconfiguration and refurbishment to create modern self-contained living spaces, including new kitchens, bathrooms, finishes and associated building services. Particular attention was given to the quality of the interior specification, with bespoke furniture, Italian sanitaryware and specialist finishes forming part of the completed accommodation.

Delivery was complicated by the COVID-19 period and the resulting disruption to international supply chains. Lead times for specialist products increased considerably, requiring careful procurement planning, alternative sourcing and ongoing coordination to maintain progress and protect the quality of the finished scheme.

Despite these challenges, the development was successfully completed and the finished flats attracted strong demand, with the properties selling quickly after completion. The project demonstrates Adam Renovations’ experience in residential conversions, refurbishment, construction coordination and the delivery of complex London developments where planning, procurement and existing-building constraints must all be managed together.
