Haringey, N10 – Rear Extension, Roof Terrace & Full Refurbishment

Adam Renovations completed a substantial residential refurbishment project in Haringey, N10, combining a new ground-floor rear extension with extensive internal works and external landscaping.

The rear extension was designed to increase the usable living space at ground-floor level while creating a stronger connection between the house and garden. A walk-on rooflight was incorporated into the extension roof, allowing additional natural light into the accommodation below while also forming part of the usable external area above.

The project included associated architectural steelwork, including new garden-access stairs and perimeter railings around the extension roof. These elements required careful coordination with the new structure, waterproofing and external finishes to ensure the completed design was both practical and visually integrated.

Internally, the two-storey property was comprehensively refurbished, with the existing accommodation upgraded and reconfigured as part of the wider scheme. The works included associated building services, finishes and internal improvements throughout the property.

Externally, the project incorporated a complete landscaping package, including retaining walls, stepped access and new hard-landscaped areas. The external works were carefully coordinated with the rear extension to create a cohesive transition between the house, roof terrace and garden.
