Hammersmith & Fulham, SW10 – Six-Flat Refurbishment & Roof Terrace Works

Adam Renovations completed a substantial refurbishment and redevelopment project in Hammersmith & Fulham, SW10, involving six residential flats arranged across three floors together with an existing commercial unit at ground and lower-ground level.

The works included comprehensive refurbishment of the residential accommodation alongside significant alterations to the existing building fabric. Existing pitched roofs over the first- and second-floor extensions were removed and replaced with new roof terrace areas, improving the use of the available external space and requiring careful coordination with the existing structure and waterproofing details.

At roof level, the existing top-floor roof was replaced as part of the wider programme of external and structural works. The project also included restoration and making good to external elevations and surfaces, helping to improve the overall condition and appearance of the building.

Internally, the refurbishment incorporated new building services together with structural alterations and associated construction works across the residential areas. The programme required careful sequencing to coordinate structural works, roofing, services, internal refurbishment and external restoration within an existing multi-storey London property.

Alterations were also carried out to the existing shopfront serving the commercial element of the building, requiring the residential and commercial components of the scheme to be coordinated as part of one overall construction programme.

The completed project delivered upgraded residential accommodation, improved roof and terrace areas and extensive improvements to the existing building fabric. It demonstrates Adam Renovations’ experience in complex London refurbishments involving multiple flats, structural alterations, roofing works, new services and external restoration.
