Ealing, W5 – Rear Kitchen Extension, Full Refurbishment & Garden Room

Adam Renovations completed a substantial residential refurbishment and rear extension project in Ealing, W5, transforming the ground floor into a larger, brighter and more functional family living space.

The new rear extension created an open-plan kitchen, dining and entertaining area with extensive glazing, rooflights and bi-fold doors designed to maximise natural light and provide a strong connection between the interior and rear garden.

A contemporary kitchen formed the centrepiece of the new space, incorporating fitted cabinetry, worktops, integrated appliances and coordinated lighting and finishes. The enlarged layout provided significantly improved circulation and a more practical environment for both everyday family use and entertaining.

Underfloor heating was installed throughout the principal ground-floor areas, improving comfort while allowing the interior to retain a clean and uncluttered appearance without reliance on conventional radiators.

The wider refurbishment included associated structural alterations, building services, internal finishes and redecoration required to integrate the new extension successfully with the existing property.

A substantial detached outbuilding was also created at the rear of the garden, providing flexible additional accommodation designed for use as a lounge and with the potential to function as a home gym or other ancillary living space.
