Croydon, CR0 – Rear & Side Extension with Full House Refurbishment

Adam Renovations completed a substantial residential extension and full house refurbishment project in Croydon, CR0, involving major structural alterations and a comprehensive transformation of the existing property.

The project included extensive demolition and groundworks together with new piled foundations and structural steelwork required to support a new first-floor side extension and a large single-storey rear extension. These works significantly increased the usable floor area of the property while allowing the internal layout to be completely reconfigured.

The rear extension created a larger, brighter ground-floor living environment with extensive new glazing and a much stronger connection between the interior of the house and the garden. Structural openings and new steelwork were carefully coordinated to create more open and practical family living spaces.

At first-floor level, the new side extension provided additional accommodation and formed part of the wider redevelopment of the property. The new construction was integrated with the existing building structure, roofing and external envelope to create a cohesive finished appearance.

Internally, the entire house was comprehensively remodelled and refurbished to a high residential standard. The works included new layouts, upgraded rooms, joinery, glazing, finishes, decoration and associated mechanical and electrical services throughout the property.

External landscaping works completed the scheme and helped integrate the enlarged house with the surrounding garden areas.
