Chiswick, W4 – Wraparound Extension, Loft Conversion & Full House Renovation

Adam Renovations completed a major residential renovation in Chiswick, W4, combining a full house refurbishment with an approximately 85m² wraparound extension and a substantial loft conversion.

The wraparound extension dramatically increased the ground-floor footprint, creating a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living environment designed around natural light and a strong connection with the rear garden. Large areas of glazing and rooflights allow daylight to penetrate deep into the new living areas.

The property was extensively reconfigured throughout to create four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an additional WC, a dedicated study and separate reception space, substantially improving both the accommodation and functionality of the original house.

At roof level, the loft conversion created valuable additional living space and was integrated into the wider refurbishment programme, with structural alterations, insulation, building services and internal finishes coordinated across the property.

The project involved comprehensive construction works including structural alterations, new partitions, mechanical and electrical installations, plumbing, heating, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, joinery, decoration and high-quality finishes throughout.

Careful programme management was particularly important after glazing supplier delays affected the construction sequence. Despite approximately six weeks of glazing delays, the overall transformation was completed within a 10-month construction period.
