Acton Road – Full Office Refurbishment

Adam Renovations completed a comprehensive office refurbishment in Acton, West London, for a client associated with Dephna Group, a long-established London business specialising in commercial kitchens, dark kitchens, cold storage and food-production space. The brief was to take an existing office property and completely modernise the accommodation, creating a clean, contemporary and fully functional working environment.

The project began with a full strip-out of the existing interiors, removing outdated finishes, fixtures and redundant elements so the building could effectively be rebuilt internally from a clean starting point. Our team then coordinated the complete refurbishment programme, managing the works from demolition and preparation through to final finishes and handover.

The scope included internal building works, alterations to the existing layout, plastering and making good, electrical installations, plumbing works, kitchen installation, bathroom refurbishment, joinery, decorating and the complete renewal of internal finishes. Electrical and plumbing services had to be coordinated carefully with the new layouts to ensure that the finished offices worked practically as well as visually.

As with any complete office refurbishment, much of the complexity sits in sequencing the different trades correctly. Strip-out and demolition works first exposed the existing condition of the building, allowing any necessary remedial work to be identified before new services and finishes were installed. First-fix electrical and plumbing works were coordinated ahead of plastering and finishing works, followed by the installation of kitchens, bathrooms, fixtures, fittings and final decoration.

The objective throughout was to create a professional office environment that felt substantially different from the dated accommodation that existed before the works began. Particular attention was given to the quality of the final finishes, clean interfaces between different trades and ensuring that the completed spaces were practical for day-to-day occupation.

The project was delivered as a full refurbishment rather than a superficial redecoration, with Adam Renovations managing the complete construction process from initial strip-out through to completed office accommodation. The finished scheme demonstrates our ability to coordinate multiple trades and building services within an existing London property while maintaining control over programme, workmanship and final presentation.

The completed Acton refurbishment provided the client with modernised office accommodation including upgraded services, new kitchens and bathrooms and completely renewed internal finishes, transforming the property into a contemporary and functional working environment.
